First off I want to say I'm very happy your daughter is doing well. Secondly I'd like to tell you I think it is outrageous that anything of that nature could happen to your infant child, and so little be done through the judicial system. You are doing the right thing, and as fruterating it seems keep it up you will make a diference. My heart goes out to your family. I have a child on the way, and never would want to imagine your reality. Keep strong, and god speed.

I am very happy to hear that you still have your baby girl Kendra. Reading your story saddens and upsets me for I am a mother of three. It angers me that this woman, if you want to call her that, only received probation. She deserves jail time and she should have to pay for Kendra's medical and specialized care for the rest of Kendra's life. Many prayers and blessings on to you and your family.

I give you my best wishes and I hope everything works out for the best. The Jail Time should be increased for this. We was so blessed to have meet both of you and we to will do our part to help out. Our children need to be protected. When in the care of others, and this law will allow for this to happen. Both of your are so brave, if only more parents fought for other children we could insure a safier place for everyones child.

Your story breaks my heart! Kendra is absolutely adorable you just want to hug her. My oldest daughter of 17 now was hurt one time by her father hitting her so hard the doctors couldn't believe her jaw wasn't broken or ear drum busted or some other damage to her brain. We were fortunate that she was okay. I still have that pain of someone hurting my child that I trusted. Even after seeing doctors reports and court documents, my daughter refuses to believe her estranged father of 14 years would ever have hurt her. This past summer she decided she no longer liked the rules in our home and took off to live with her father many states away. No judge will make her come home because she's almost an adult now. I fear for her safety everyday and my heart is broken as she is gone. Thank you for sharing your story because it does help me to remember to be thankful that she is alive and healthly, and God willing, safe. I pray everyday she comes home. I'm still waiting.
